NAB names Christine Yates Australia debt market origination head

Yates’ has 15 years of experience in corporate banking, with skills in project and acquisition finance, debt advisory, syndicated loans, corporate bond orgination and institutional relationship banking.

National Australia Bank, the country's largest lender, appointed Christine Yates to head its Australian debt markets origination effective July 1, the bank said on Friday.

Yates will lead the bank's loan syndication and Australian debt capital markets teams, servicing NAB's institutional and corporate clients in Australia, NAB said in a statement.

Yates will report to Steve Lambert, executive general manager, capital markets.

Yates is currently a managing director at NAB, heading the bank's business performance and development team.

She has more than 15 years of experience in corporate banking, including 10 years with Citigroup and three years at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group.
