MUFG Investor Services opens operational center in Malaysia

Kimberly Clark’s Puneet Gupta will be the new managing director of the center.

MUFG Investor Services has opened an operational center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The new location will provide a full range of fund accounting, administration and asset services, supporting MUFG Investor Services’ clients in Asia and across the firm’s 16 locations.

MUFG has named Puneet Gupta as its managing director, head of Malaysia, with overall leadership and management responsibility for the location.

Gupta was the formerly director of global business services at Kimberly Clark and will bring 20 years of experience in operations management in his new role.

The new operation center in Malaysia enhances MUFG Investor Services’ ability to support its clients across the globe, its CEO John Sergides said in a press statement.
