RHB Cap given extra time for rights issue

Bursa Malaysia Securities provides 6 month extension of its $416mn fundraising scheme.

Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has granted RHB Capital Bhd a further extension of time of six months to complete the implementation of its rights issue to raise gross proceeds of approximately RM1.3bil ($415.87 million) for the proposed acquisition of a substantial stake in PT Bank Mestika Dharma in Indonesia as reported in The Malaysian Star.

In a statement, RHB said the extension of time would take effect from Oct 20, 2011, to April 19, 2012.
