CIMB appoints Dato’ Kong Sooi Lin as CEO of CIMB Investment Bank

The appointment is effective immediately.

I am confident that under her leadership, we will continue to build our investment banking franchise and solidify our position as the leading investment bank in ASEAN,” said Tengku Dato’ Sri Zafrul Aziz, Chief Executive of CIMB Group.

According to CIMB, Dato’ Kong has extensive equity and debt transaction expertise, having advised on numerous high profile and industry shaping corporate exercises in Malaysia and Asia Pacific. She counts over 27 years of investment banking experience under her belt, of which 22 years were honed with CIMB Investment Bank.
