BNP Paribas appoints Miles Remington as head of equities in Indonesia

Miles has been Global Head of Sales Trading, Head of Multi Product Client Solutions for the equity brokerage business of BNP Paribas.

According to a release, BNP Paribas appointed Miles Remington as Head of Equities, Indonesia, based in Jakarta. This appointment forms a key milestone for BNP Paribas’ presence in ASEAN markets, supporting the bank’s growth strategy in Indonesia and the region.

His appointment consolidates BNP Paribas’ comprehensive ASEAN product suite for clients investing in the Asia Pacific region. Miles will be driving BNP Paribas’ Indonesian distribution franchise, promoting global equity research capabilities to Indonesian clients, and championing Indonesian products to global investors. BNP Paribas currently has six writing analysts covering Indonesia, with a focus towards Indonesia’s core sectors of Commodities, Consumer and Energy.

Miles joined BNP Paribas Hong Kong in 2002 and has held various senior positions including Global Head of Sales Trading, Head of Multi Product Client Solutions for the equity brokerage business of BNP Paribas.
