Check out Deutsche Bank's three new Autobahn Apps

A new Account Reconciliation Manager solution was also launched.

Deutsche Bank today announced the launch of three new Apps on its Autobahn App Market and a new Account Reconciliation Manager solution, demonstrating the Bank’s continuous commitment to innovation.

Building on Deutsche Bank’s Autobahn App Market, the first ‘App-based’ electronic client offering in the financial services industry, new Apps include Cash Inquiry App, which replaces the Bank’s current dbcinq offering, the Cash Manager App, which replaces the Bank’s db direct internet offering, and the Holiday Clearing Calendar App, an extension of the Bank’s existing Calendar App.

The Cash Inquiry App enables clients to intuitively view records of completed transactions and reference information, original instructions and outbound payment instructions. Users can initiate inquiries instantly while conducting research online and obtain detailed reports on volumes and types of inquiries, billable inquiries as well as Deutsche Bank’s performance in terms of resolution time.

The Cash Manager App will handle delivery of processed transactions and provide payment and account information to users via an enhanced user-friendly dashboard, allowing clients to access relevant services faster and more easily through an improved interface.

The Holiday Clearing Calendar App will provide users with cash clearing holidays for major clearing currencies. Holiday dates are available up to 12 months in advance and the Calendar App provides extensive search functionality. This allows clients around the globe to benefit from quickly obtaining information on clearing holidays by currency.

These new Autobahn App Market Apps will be featured at the 2013 Sibos conference alongside other product innovations such as the new GTB Correspondent Bank Directory (CBD) service on Autobahn Mobile, the Bank’s new mobile solution for iPads. CBD provides information on correspondent bank information to financial institutions, including Deutsche Bank’s STP-formatting rules for US dollar, Euro and British pound sterling high-value payments.

With 165 Apps, Deutsche Bank’s Autobahn App Market provides direct access to research, analytics, data and pricing tools on a single platform, offering greater flexibility to customise solutions and better meet clients’ needs.

The Account Reconciliation Manager, a real-time, multi-currency cash management solution, allows users to automatically reconcile funds to virtual accounts using customisable rules-based matching and is a flexible cost reduction solution that seamlessly integrates with clients’ operating infrastructures.

All transactions are posted to one main cash account held with the Bank and are reflected in virtual accounts that can be categorised to meet the individual user’s business needs. The Account Reconciliation Manager solution streamlines and automates account reconciliation to reduce operational costs and risk, improve efficiency and control while maximising visibility and use of liquidity.

David Watson, Global Head of Client Access Products, Global Transaction Banking at Deutsche Bank, said, “We continue to drive innovation by seeking fresh perspectives from outside the financial services industry and adopting best practices in product development to ensure the highest standards of user experience for our clients.”

Christian Westerhaus, Global Co-Head of Client Products and Solutions Product Management, Global Transaction Banking, at Deutsche Bank, said, “Deutsche Bank continues to invest in its transaction banking products to help clients increase efficiency and reduce complexity of their daily tasks.”

These launches coincide with the expansion Deutsche Bank’s Guaranteed Plus product suite with the introduction of Guaranteed US Plus, a USD clearing product that offers fee transparency for individual USD payments flowing into the United States.
