Bank Mandiri earmarks $439M for the holidays

Bank Mandiri allocated US$439 million for its customers' needs during Christmas and New Year.

Bank Mandiri technology and operational director Kresno Sediarsi said that about 35 percent of the total fund is distributed in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi.

He said the bank had prepared Rp 850 billion for every day, which was a 10 percent increase compared to normal days.

“We have prepared the money to fill automatic teller machines nd we will maintain the availability of cash supply, infrastructure and ATM operational systems,” Kresno said.
