Asian Banking & Finance Awards 2024 opens nominations for outstanding banks, finance companies

Financial institutions may send their entries to the Wholesale Banking Awards, Retail Banking Awards, and Corporate and Investment Banking Awards until 3 May 2024.

In the dynamic landscape of the financial sector, institutions grapple with the challenges of rapid technological advancements, cybersecurity threats, and evolving regulatory frameworks. Simultaneously, these challenges present golden opportunities that are crucial to driving the industry towards a future marked by resilience and transformative growth.

As the financial heartbeat of the Asia Pacific pulses stronger with each economic stride, Asian Banking and Finance proudly announces the return of the most anticipated events in the banking and finance industry—the 2024 Wholesale Banking Awards, Retail Banking Awards, and Corporate and Investment Banking Awards.

Industry players are invited to shine a spotlight on their outstanding achievements through these awards programmes, which aim to honour top banks and financial companies in the Asia Pacific region that have remained competitive, developed innovative products and services, and implemented effective strategies.

Shirley Wong, General Manager and Head of Personal Banking Division at The Bank of East Asia, Limited (BEA), spoke about BEA’s victory in the Domestic Retail Bank of the Year - Hong Kong and Digital Consumer Banking Initiative of the Year - Hong Kong categories during the ABF Retail Banking Awards 2023.

"First of all, on behalf of BEA, I would like to thank Asian Banking & Finance for giving BEA these two awards. They are fitting tributes to what the bank has achieved in terms of updating its services and growing the business. We are really pleased," said Wong.

2 July 2024: Awards Presentation Day in Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore

Entries will be evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges consisting of experts in the banking and finance industry. They will then be honoured at the Awards Dinner in Singapore.

The Wholesale Banking Awards, Retail Banking Awards, and Corporate and Investment Banking Awards are presented by Asian Banking & Finance Magazine.
