Indonesia's BCA to add up to 3,000 ATMs this year
BCA will add between 2,500 to 3,000 ATMs throughout the country this year, according to its executive director Jahja Setiatmadja.
These includes machines for cash and non-cash transactions.
Jahja refused to mention the budget the company allocated to expand its number of ATMs but emphasized that they will open a tender to get the cheapest price.
The expansion was aimed at reducing long queues at BCA ATMs.
“We don’t want to hear the ‘Bank Capek Antri’ [queuing bank] term anymore,” he said.
BCA currently has 8,500 ATMs across the country connected to 34,600 ATM Prima networks and 34,000 ATM Bersama networks
