HSBC HK unveils debit, supplementary card waiving foreign currency fees

The cards also offer a 0.5% instant cash rebate on all spendings.

HSBC Hong Kong has launched a new debit card and supplementary debit card for its global private banking customers.

Powered by Mastercard, the new cards are expected to provide customers with a rewarding and convenient foreign currency payment experience, including competitive foreign currency exchanges rates.

Customers will also enjoy a waiver for foreign currency transaction fees; and a handling fee waiver for foreign currency cash withdrawal at HSBC Group and Mastercard and Cirrus network ATMs worldwide.

The cards also offer a 0.5% instant cash rebate on all spendings, and a spending limit of up to HK$200,000 with a waiver on all administrative fees.

The HSBC Global Private Banking Mastercard Debit Card supports up to 12 designated currencies, including AUD, CAD, CHF, EUR, GBP, HKD, JPY, NZD, RMB, SGD, THB and USD.
