India-based HDFC Bank has introduced Infinia, a new ultra-premium credit card for the uber rich.
The bank said the new credit card, available on Visa and MasterCard platforms, will be issued to the 'by-invitation only' 5000 individuals and it comes virtually without limits on terms of spending as well about the luxuries for which customers are accustomed to.
HDFC Bank managing director Aditya Puri said Infinia is a super-premium offering from the bank to rich Indians, according to a report in Banking Business Review.
'It is the culmination of a very successful journey that began in 2003 with the launch of our first card. But what prompted us to conceive INFINIA was the need our clients felt for such a product. We are confident INFINIA will soon be the card of choice for India's rich," Puri said.
