UOB opens two more branches in Malaysia

UOB has opened branches in Cheras and Ampang in Malaysia both equipped with Privilege Banking Centres.

These two new branches bring the Bank’s total to 45 branches nationwide.

“Due to the strategic locations of our two new branches, UOB is now able to reach out to
many more corporate and individual customers located or residing in the many commercial/residential hubs in and around Cheras as well as Ampang,” said Mr Chan Kok Seong, Director and Chief Executive Officer of United Overseas Bank Malaysia.

UOB Cheras is located within a matured neighbourhood with a huge urbane population base. The branch will be able offer a host of banking convenience and solutions to the surrounding local businesses and community.

On the other hand, UOB Ampang is strategically located right opposite Ampang Point Shopping Centre along the busy stretch of Jalan Ampang. In the midst of a developed commercial area, the Bank is well-placed to tap into the ample growth opportunities in this affluent neighbourhood.
