Dorner: Ampang strategic for Islamic offering

HSBC Amanah Malaysia Berhad opened its third branch in Ampang Point, Selangor. The opening was officiated by Irene Dorner, Chairman of HSBC Amanah Malaysia, and Musa Abdul Malek, Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Amanah Malaysia.

"This is a very strategic location for our business. Not only is it in a bustling commercial area, but it is also easily accessible from the residential areas nearby. We are well-prepared to serve our customers here," explained Ms Dorner.

Mr Abdul Malek added: "HSBC Amanah Malaysia offers a new concept of Islamic finance to the market, complete with state-of-the-art technology to serve customers better."

HSBC Amanah Malaysia complements the existing comprehensive banking solutions of HSBC Bank by offering its customers a full suite of innovative Islamic retail and corporate products and services.

HSBC Amanah’s first two branches are located in One Utama Shopping Centre, Petaling Jaya and Juru Auto City, Penang.
